Paris Photo-Aperture PhotoBook Awards
About this opportunity
The Paris Photo-Aperture PhotoBook Awards recognise excellence in photobook publishing across three categories: First PhotoBook, PhotoBook of the Year, and Photography Catalog of the Year. Since 2012, the awards have become one of the most watched photobook prizes worldwide, giving early-career photobook makers a route into international visibility through the shortlist exhibition at Paris Photo and the accompanying Aperture PhotoBook Review.
Application tips
Physical copies of every entered book must reach Aperture in New York by the deadline, so post well in advance. The First PhotoBook category is the natural entry point for a first monograph. Early-bird entry (10 June to 10 July) roughly halves the fee. Shortlist announced in October, winners in mid-November.
