About this opportunity

The BAVC MediaMaker Fellowship supports emerging documentary filmmakers through a year-long programme of convenings, mentorship, festival access, and a substantial cash grant. Fellows receive individualised support to develop their first or second feature-length documentary project.

The Sundance Ignite x Adobe Fellowship supports emerging filmmakers at the earliest stages of their careers. Ten fellows are selected annually. Each receives a $5,000 artist grant, one-on-one mentorship from a Sundance Institute alumni mentor, a 12-month Adobe Creative Cloud membership, monthly cohort webinars and workshops, and a weeklong in-person lab at MassMoca in Massachusetts with all expenses covered. The programme is designed for young filmmakers who have yet to direct a feature.
