The Sundance Institute Episodic Program supports writers developing original series through two cohorts each year: a six-day in-person Episodic Lab and a two-day virtual Episodic Intensive. Selected writers work with accomplished showrunners and industry executives through one-on-one story meetings, craft workshops, pitching sessions, and simulated writers' rooms. Applicants apply once and are placed into either the Lab or the Intensive.
