Future Generation Art Prize
About this opportunity
The Future Generation Art Prize is a biennial global contemporary art award established by Viktor Pinchuk Foundation in 2009, operated by PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv, Ukraine. The prize aims to identify, recognise, and provide long-term support to emerging artists worldwide. Applications are open to all artists under 35, regardless of gender, race, or artistic discipline. Additionally, 300 expert correspondents -- curators, artists, critics, and educators -- nominate 2-5 candidates each. A selection committee then chooses up to 20 nominees for exhibition. The 2027 prize follows satellite exhibitions at the Venice Biennale in 2011, 2013, 2017, and 2019.
Application tips
Applications are open via the prize website from 11 May to 28 June 2026. You may also be nominated by one of the 300 global expert correspondents. Your portfolio should demonstrate strong artistic vision and originality across any medium or discipline.
