About this opportunity
ISCP in Brooklyn hosts over 35 artists and curators annually from more than 30 countries, making it one of the most internationally diverse residency programmes. Residents receive a private studio and apartment, access to a vibrant peer community, and engagement with New York's art world through studio visits, exhibitions, and public programmes.
Application tips
Many residencies at ISCP are funded through partnerships with national arts councils. Check whether your home country's arts funding body has a partnership with ISCP before applying independently. Self-funded residencies are also available. Current open call: Helen Frankenthaler Foundation residency (painters, drawers, printmakers with US work authorisation), deadline 5 March 2026, with US$3,050/month stipend for a seven-month residency September 2026 to March 2027.
