Mondriaan Fund Art Media Grant
About this opportunity
The Mondriaan Fund's Art Media grant supports written and spoken word publications about contemporary visual art, such as article series, long reads and podcasts published in magazines, newspapers, social media channels or other online platforms. Individual critics, curators, journalists and content creators can apply alongside media platforms. Funding covers up to 70% of eligible expenses, with a standard fixed grant of EUR 2,480 per month for work periods of one to six months. Applications are assessed by an advisory committee twice a year.
Application tips
The committee gives most weight to the quality and impact of the work plan, so explain clearly how the project will enhance the discourse and reach (new) audiences. Grants are not available for regular activities such as a new season of an existing podcast, for film or television productions, or for artist profiles. Allow three months for processing; no grants are awarded retrospectively.
