About this opportunity
Monson Arts runs two- and four-week residencies in the village of Monson, Maine. Each session hosts a cohort of five artists and five writers, who receive a private studio, a private bedroom in shared housing, all meals and a stipend. The programme is open to practitioners at any career stage across visual arts, writing and related disciplines.
Application tips
The application window for spring 2027 sessions runs from 1 December 2026 to 15 January 2027. Open calls normally run three times a year, each for residencies three to six months ahead, so if the spring dates do not suit you, watch for the next window.
