About this opportunity

AT&T Untold Stories, run by Tribeca with AT&T, funds the production of a first or second scripted feature by filmmakers from underrepresented communities. Five finalist teams pitch to a jury of media professionals at the Tribeca Festival in New York; one project wins USD 1.2 million for production and the other four receive USD 15,000 each for development. Tribeca also offers mentorship covering creative direction, script notes, casting and distribution strategy, and the finished winning film premieres at the following year's festival. Tribeca says the programme has awarded over USD 9.2 million and produced 8 feature films since 2017.
