About this opportunity

VdR-Pitching is the competitive international co-production and co-financing forum at Visions du Reel in Nyon, Switzerland, showcasing fifteen documentary projects in late development. The forum takes place during the VdR-Industry days and offers selected projects direct access to decision-makers, significant cash prizes, and international visibility within one of the world's most respected documentary festivals.

Application tips

Projects do not need financing attached at the time of submission. Early-bird submission (CHF 30) closes 2 November 2026, then CHF 40 until the final deadline of 15 December 2026. Ensure your project is being presented publicly for the first time at Visions du Reel. Selection results are communicated in February. The 2027 VdR-Industry days run 11-14 April 2027 in Nyon.
