About this opportunity
WIELS, Brussels' preeminent contemporary art centre, offers residencies to international artists in its converted Art Deco brewery building. Residents receive a studio, apartment, stipend, and curatorial support, with access to Brussels' thriving contemporary art scene and WIELS' exhibition programme. The programme is oriented on practice, critical reflection, and dialogue with peers.

The Art House in Wakefield, in partnership with ROSL, offers a fully funded two-month residency to international artists. Black Rock Senegal, an artist residency founded by artist Kehinde Wiley, provides fully funded residencies for visual artists, writers, and filmmakers in Dakar. The programme brings together international artists, with a focus on artists from Africa and the African diaspora, in a purpose-built facility overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
