About this opportunity
Film Independent runs two documentary labs: a Story Lab for directors and a Producing Lab for producers. Each selects six fellows for intensive mentorship and development with established documentary professionals. The Story Lab focuses on late-production/early post-production with workshops, one-on-one mentoring from Creative and Editing Advisors, and a pitch event. The Producing Lab includes professional coaching, case studies with experienced producers, and networking opportunities.

Approximately 70% of DCampus projects enter production. The programme culminates in a final pitch at the SILBERSALZ Science and Media Festival in Halle, Germany.
