About this opportunity
The Lucie Foundation Scholarship Program awards four cash prizes across two disciplines and two career categories. In Fine Art and Photojournalism/Documentary, both Emerging and Professional photographers can enter. Emerging winners receive $1,000 (plus a Sony Camera Kit for Photojournalism/Documentary); Professional winners receive $3,000. Selected works are exhibited at House of Lucie galleries in Los Angeles, Athens, Budapest, Ostuni, and Samui.
Application tips
Submit a cohesive body of 20 images with a project proposal (max 1,500 characters) outlining your goals and completion plan. The foundation values authenticity and a distinctive photographic voice. The 2026 deadline is 30 September 2026 with early-bird discounts applied earlier in the year.
