Creative Producer Indaba
About this opportunity
A six month fellowship from the Realness Institute for ten producers working in Africa and its partner regions, run with anchor partner EAVE. It moves from an online development and pitching workshop to an in-person week in Johannesburg on packaging, finance, co-production, sales and legal frameworks, and a final week on Réunion Island during the Indian Ocean International Film Festival. The programme focuses on building a sustainable producing career as well as developing projects.
Application tips
Your application and any interview must be in English, and language readiness is assessed at interview. Check which pathway applies to you: African applicants can bring a project they control or co-control, while international applicants join on the career focused pathway without a project. Clear your diary for both in-person weeks before applying.
