About this opportunity
Talents Buenos Aires is a cinematographic discussion forum and intensive five-day programme of workshops and masterclasses held during BAFICI, the Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema. Part of the Berlinale Talents International network, it brings together emerging professionals from across South America for peer exchange and mentorship with established international filmmakers. The 21st edition (2026) runs under the theme 'Tierra en Trance' (Land in Trance).
Application tips
The application period typically runs from mid-October to mid-December. Show a clear artistic trajectory and explain what you hope to gain from the programme. Accommodation is provided only for participants living more than 70km from Buenos Aires; travel costs are not covered.
